Brush Munchers is a family-owned goat brush clearing and event service. We use our beautiful and entertaining goats to naturally clear overgrown areas. Our goats help control vegetation in an eco-friendly way, whether it's for residential, commercial, or event purposes.
Goats love to munch on a wide variety of plants, including weeds, vines, poison ivy, and even tough shrubs. They primarily eat the leaves off the plants, which significantly weakens and helps eradicate them over time. However, the goats do leave behind some stalks or tougher stems. Over time, without leaves for photosynthesis, the remaining stalks will often die off.
While goats are excellent at removing the leafy portions of plants and controlling growth, they typically leave behind thicker stems and woody stalks. These remaining stalks can be mowed down, or we can discuss options for additional removal if needed.
For brush clearing services, we charge $375 for the temporary electric fencing setup, $20 per goat per day, and $30 per sheep per day. There is also a $1 per mile fee for service areas outside the Triad (High Point, Kernersville, Greensboro, Winston Salem). We also offer event rental packages:
The number of goats depends on the size of your property and the density of vegetation. Typically, for smaller areas, a few goats can do the job, while larger or more overgrown areas will require more goats. We will provide a free estimate based on your specific needs.
We provide temporary electric fencing to ensure the goats stay safe and focused on the job at hand. While goats are generally independent, we check in regularly to ensure they're healthy, happy, and on track with the clearing process.
Yes! Our goats are very friendly and used to being around people, including children and pets. However, we always recommend supervising interactions, especially with young children or unfamiliar pets.

Yes, goats love poison ivy and many other invasive plants like kudzu. They will happily munch on these unwanted plants without the need for harsh chemicals.
You can contact us for a free estimate via phone or through our website. We’ll evaluate your property and determine the number of goats and duration needed for the job. We also offer goats for events like birthday parties and photo shoots which can also be booked via phone or email.
